We produce towels in both ring-spun and zero-twist cotton. Neither is better than the other — they are two different ways of building a yarn, and each one gives a towel a distinct character.
Ring-spun cotton
Ring spinning twists long cotton fibres tightly around each other to form a smooth, strong yarn with very few loose ends.
The result is a towel that holds its structure, resists pilling and keeps a clean, uniform pile through hundreds of commercial wash cycles. It is the natural choice where durability and a crisp folded appearance matter.
Zero-twist cotton
Zero-twist yarn uses long-staple cotton held together during weaving by a soluble binder that washes away in finishing, leaving fibres almost untwisted.
Because the fibres stay open, the towel is exceptionally soft to the touch, absorbs water very quickly and dries faster than a comparable twisted yarn. It reads as a luxury spa product.
Choosing between them
For high-rotation hospitality laundry and long service life, ring spun is usually the right specification. For spa, resort and premium retail where first touch is the selling point, zero twist is outstanding.
